By accessing or using WorthClip, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the service.
2. Description of Service
WorthClip is an AI-powered tool that helps you prioritize your YouTube subscriptions. We analyze videos from your subscribed channels and score them based on your personal learning goals and interests. Our service generates summaries, extracts key moments, and provides relevance scores to help you decide which videos are worth your time.
WorthClip also offers a public REST API and an OpenClaw skill, allowing developers and AI agents to access scoring, feeds, channels, and usage data programmatically. API access requires an API key generated from your account settings.
3. User Accounts
To use WorthClip, you need to create an account using our authentication provider (Clerk). You can then add YouTube channels to track by searching or pasting channel URLs. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
- Keeping your API keys secure and not sharing them publicly
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the service beyond normal use
- Attempt to bypass any rate limits or usage restrictions
- Share your account credentials or allow others to access your account
- Use the service to violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
- Share API keys publicly or embed them in client-side code
- Use the API or OpenClaw skill to resell WorthClip services without authorization
5. Intellectual Property
Video Content: All video content, thumbnails, and metadata belong to their respective creators. WorthClip does not claim any ownership over YouTube content. We only display publicly available metadata and generate derivative analyses for your personal use.
AI-Generated Content: The summaries, scores, and analyses generated by WorthClip are tools to help you make viewing decisions. They are generated automatically by AI and should not be considered definitive assessments of video quality or value.
6. Third-Party Services
WorthClip integrates with third-party services to provide its functionality:
- YouTube API: To fetch video information from channels you track
- Clerk: For authentication and account management
- AI Providers: For generating summaries and relevance scores
- Polar: For subscription and payment processing
- OpenClaw: For AI agent skill distribution and discovery
Your use of WorthClip is also subject to the terms and policies of these third-party services.
7. Disclaimers
WorthClip is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
- AI-generated scores and summaries are opinions, not guarantees of video quality
- We cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to the service
- Video availability depends on YouTube and content creators
- Transcript availability varies by video and may affect analysis quality
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WorthClip and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the service.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes by posting the new terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of WorthClip after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
